Ghost in the Shell OTT Release:
Do you want to get entertained by some stylish action? In case yes, Ghost in the Shell is what you may want to add to your to-watch list. The Scarlett Johansson-starring film is now available for streaming on Lionsgate Play.
The film released back in 2017 is inspired by the Japanese manga and anime franchise. Ghost in the Shell features Major, the human-cyborg who serves an elite security unit. However, the situation starts to develop in quite a confusing way after Major decides to explore the truth about herself, her creation and her memories.
In the role of Major, Scarlett Johansson has a great opportunity to move far away from typical action-hero performances. The film is full of stunning visual effects, nice action scenes and a very specific atmosphere which the movie has.
First of all, the world the film presents itself is definitely one of the most interesting aspects. The colorful neon city, technologically-based setting and cyborg-like characters create a very specific atmosphere which makes the movie attractive especially for fans of futuristic thrillers.
Among other notable actors in the cast there are such people as Pilou Asbæk, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt.

So, if Scarlett Johansson, cyberpunk worlds and action films are your cup of tea, Ghost in the Shell may turn out to be a good choice.
