Koloveri Movie Review:
Some movies are made to tell a big story, some are made purely to entertain, and then there are films like Koloveri, which try to mix comedy with everyday drama. Now streaming on ETV Win, the film comes with a relatively fresh cast and a simple setup, but does it really work as a full-length entertainer?
Directed by Krishna Poojitha, Koloveri stars Raviteja Mukkavalli, Shavya Samala, Olya and Shreya Nagesh in the lead roles.

Story & Performances
Koloveri keeps things fairly simple and focuses more on its characters and their situations rather than trying to build a complicated plot. The comedy comes from the situations the characters find themselves in, while the emotional side of the story gives the film a little more weight.
Raviteja Mukkavalli gets a good opportunity to carry the film, and he does a decent job with his role. Shavya Samala also fits well into the story, while Olya and Shreya Nagesh add their own flavour to the proceedings.
The performances aren’t the kind that will blow you away, but they suit the relatively light-hearted nature of the movie.
Comedy & Drama
This is probably where Koloveri will divide viewers.
There are some genuinely enjoyable moments, especially when the film doesn’t try too hard to be funny. A few scenes land nicely, while others feel predictable. The dramatic portions are handled in a straightforward way, giving the movie a balance between fun and emotion.
The biggest advantage is that Koloveri doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s clearly aiming for an easy-going watch rather than a heavy drama.
Direction
Krishna Poojitha keeps the storytelling reasonably simple. The film doesn’t get lost in unnecessary complications, which works in its favour. At the same time, some portions could have been tighter, particularly when the pace slows down.
Still, for a small-scale comedy-drama, the direction does enough to keep the movie moving.
Final Verdict
Koloveri isn’t trying to reinvent the comedy-drama genre, and that’s probably not the point. It’s a straightforward film with a few fun moments, some drama and a cast that does its job well.
If you’re looking for something light to watch on ETV Win without expecting a massive cinematic experience, Koloveri can be given a try. Just keep your expectations in check and enjoy it for what it is — a simple comedy-drama meant for an easy OTT watch.
