Modha Rathri Netflix:
Modha Rathri is making some noise on Netflix just days after its streaming release.
The comedy-drama of Tamil origin is now ranked at number seven in Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English Movies chart for the week of September 14 to 20, 2026. As per Netflix’s weekly viewership statistics, the movie has garnered about 1.9 million views with 4.5 million hours of streaming.

And guess what? The movie had been on the platform for just a few days since its arrival on the platform on September 18.
Directed by Raja Karuppasamy, the movie features Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar in lead roles. The plot of the film centers on a story of two individuals who happen to marry each other despite being strangers to one another and unwilling for that matter. After a confession comes to light, the two have to flee the venue of the celebrations.
This movie is a theater release first on August 21. But the movie has been uploaded on the streaming website, which offers a multilingual version of it including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
The Netflix numbers also show that the film found an audience outside India. In India, Modha Rathri was among Netflix’s Top 10 movies for the September 14–20 week, while it also appeared in the Top 10 movie chart in the UAE.

With such a small amount of time since the streaming process began, the 1.9 million viewers is definitely a good start for this film. As the movie can now reach more people through Netflix, it’s possible that the figures may still rise.
