The Mongoose Movie OTT Release:
How does it feel when a man who once served his nation finds himself struggling for his life? This is the essence of The Mongoose, an action drama featuring Liam Neeson that can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
In this movie, we see how a war hero finds himself in a predicament that he never anticipated before. He is wrongfully accused of a crime, and now he finds himself running from the law. There is no chance to clarify his side of the story, and definitely no room for errors. With law enforcement hot on his trail, he takes off on a dangerous cross-country escape that soon turns into a massive public spectacle.
However, there is another intriguing aspect of the plot. Not only does the main character attempt to flee from the police, but he suffers from PTSD and carries a lot of psychological stress associated with his previous experience in the military on top of having to survive during the ongoing chaos. He was engaged in battles within himself, but now it seems that the whole country is his opponent.
Fortunately, he is not left all alone, as his fellow soldiers come to his rescue and provide him with loyalty and brotherhood in a situation where it is difficult to find trust in anyone else. The more complicated the situation becomes, the more the entire nation starts to watch him, supporting him in his efforts to outwit everyone in order to stay alive.
Liam Neeson is ideally suited for such a role, as he is known for taking up roles of men put in desperate situations. Moreover, the movie has an intriguing emotional element since its hero has to cope not only with the attempts of the law enforcers to capture him but also with the consequences of being in war.
As a 100-minute film, The Mongoose will provide an action-packed story focused on chase, survival, and camaraderie between soldiers. Instead of dragging out events, The Mongoose will unite a simple plot line with ample opportunities to generate suspense and action.
