Do Deewane Seher Mein Review — kinda slow, kinda messy, but stayed with me

Do Deewane Seher Mein:

just watched Do Deewane Seher Mein on netflix and idk… it’s one of those films i’m still figuring out how i feel about.

like, nothing huge really happens in a typical sense. it’s just these two people in a city, dealing with their own stuff, crossing paths… and the film just sits with that. sometimes it works, sometimes it feels like it’s dragging a bit too much.

siddhant chaturvedi is very low-key here. not doing too much, which i liked. he just feels… there. a bit closed off, a bit lost. mrunal thakur is easier to connect with i think — she brings more emotion, more warmth. together they’re not like this big romantic pair, it’s more awkward, unsure, almost like real life where people don’t always know what they’re doing.

some scenes feel very real, like random conversations or silences that actually happen, not movie-type dialogues. but yeah, at the same time, there were moments where i caught myself checking how much time is left.

the city is shot nicely though. not in a flashy way, more like… quiet, slightly lonely. that part worked for me.

but yeah, it’s not a perfect film at all. pacing is off in places, and if you’re expecting a proper ending with closure, this might frustrate you. it kind of just… ends in its own way.

still, after it finished, i didn’t just forget it. kept thinking about a few scenes, the vibe, the characters. so i guess it did something right.

not for everyone, but if you’re okay with slow, slightly messy, real-feeling films, you might connect with it.
