Ashneer Grover Biopic:
There’s a new bit of Bollywood buzz going around, and honestly, it’s one of those combos you don’t immediately expect — but can’t ignore either.
So, as per recent reports, Shraddha Kapoor is being considered to play the role of Ashneer Grover’s wife in his upcoming biopic. And here’s the part that really grabs attention — the film is reportedly being led by none other than Aamir Khan.
Yeah, that’s quite a mix.
Now, if you’ve followed Ashneer Grover even a little — especially post his Shark Tank India days — you’ll know his personality is anything but subtle. Straightforward, sharp, sometimes controversial… he kind of redefined what a startup figure looks like in mainstream media. So naturally, a biopic on him was always going to happen at some point.
But casting is where things get interesting.
Shraddha Kapoor stepping into the role of his wife isn’t something people saw coming. She’s mostly been seen in lighter roles or commercial entertainers, so this could be a shift. Not necessarily drastic, but definitely different in tone. If the film actually digs into the personal side of Ashneer’s life — beyond the boardroom and the blunt one-liners — then her role might have more depth than it seems at first glance.
And then there’s Aamir Khan.
He’s known for being super selective. Like, painfully selective sometimes. So if he’s attached to this project in any serious way, it probably means the script has something solid going on. Or at least that’s the assumption people usually make with him.
That said, nothing has been officially locked in (as far as public confirmation goes), so it’s still very much in the “let’s wait and see” phase. Bollywood announcements tend to float around a bit before they become real.
Still, if this casting actually happens, it could turn into one of those unexpected films that people initially doubt — and then end up watching out of pure curiosity.
Because let’s be honest… a startup story, a bold public figure, and a slightly unconventional cast? That’s already enough to get people talking.
