Bhooth Bangla:
So yeah… this is kind of interesting to watch. After the whole wave created by Dhurandhar 2, now Bhooth Bangla has also crossed the ₹100 crore mark. Didn’t really expect things to pick up like this so quickly, but here we are.
Dhurandhar 2 already did big numbers and got people back into theatres, and now Bhooth Bangla following it up makes it feel like maybe… just maybe… the box office isn’t as dead as it looked a few months ago.
What’s kinda surprising is Bhooth Bangla doing this well. It’s not like your typical full-on mass action thing. More of a horror-comedy vibe, a bit offbeat compared to the usual ₹100 crore club films. So yeah, this probably means people actually liked it, not just hype or big opening weekend stuff.
For a while it felt like nothing was working. Big films, small films, everything just came and went. Now suddenly two films doing strong numbers back-to-back… it feels different. Not saying everything is fixed or anything, but at least it’s not looking so dull.
Still early though. Could just be a phase. But if a couple more films manage to click like this, then yeah maybe we can actually say things are getting better.
Right now it just feels like… okay, something’s moving again. Not fully back, but not stuck either.
