Biker:
“Biker” is finally coming out on OTT. It’s dropping on Netflix on May 1 and honestly people have been waiting for this one for a bit.
It’s a Telugu film directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara, and the main guy is Sharwanand. Along with him you’ve got Malvika Nair, Dr. Rajasekhar, plus Brahmaji and Atul Kulkarni — so yeah, pretty solid cast overall.
The film is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, so it’s basically going full South India OTT mode. And in Hindi it’s being pushed under the name #Sharwa, which is already kind of floating around on social media.
From what it looks like, it’s not just a “bike action movie” or something simple like that. There’s more emotional weight in it, some drama, some grit, and the bike angle feels more like a part of the story rather than just style.
Netflix has been doing this thing lately where they’re picking up a lot of regional films and dropping them big on release day. Netflix is clearly betting on this kind of multi-language release strategy now.
Anyway, it’s one of those releases where people will probably just check it out on day one out of curiosity alone — cast is strong, promos have been floating, and now it’s just waiting to land.
May 1 — let’s see how it actually turns out.
