Dacoit: A Love Story is finally landing on OTT. It’s streaming on @PrimeVideoIN from May 8, 2026. After the theatre run, this is basically its second life now.
The film is a 2026 Indian action + romantic drama, directed by Shaneil Deo (his first film as director). He also co-wrote it with Adivi Sesh, who’s not just acting here but also involved in the writing side, which kind of shows in the storytelling style.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under Annapurna Studios, the film was shot in Telugu and Hindi together, which is a bit ambitious but also makes sense for the scale they were going for.
Cast-wise, it’s led by Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, and then you’ve got people like Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Zayn Marie Khan, and Atul Kulkarni in supporting roles. Pretty packed lineup honestly.
Story-wise (without getting too formal about it), it’s that mix of love and revenge, where things obviously go wrong and keep getting worse. Some emotional bits, some action-heavy parts, and a lot of characters stuck in their own mess.
Now it’s coming to Prime Video, so people who missed it in theatres can finally just watch it at home without overthinking it.
