The Bear Final Season:
okay, take a deep breath everyone because the official poster for the final season of THE BEAR is here and it’s giving me so much anxiety (in the best way possible??). fx and hulu just announced it’s premiering on june 25, which is honestly way sooner than i expected but also not soon enough because i need to know if everyone is okay.
just looking at this poster makes my heart rate go up. it’s got that classic, messy collage vibe that totally captures the chaos of a kitchen. we’ve got carmy’s face looking all intense and brooding on the side, syd looking genuinely worried (as per usual, poor girl), and richie looking like he’s actually trying to hold it together for once. it’s such a cool design—how all the different characters and scenes are layered inside carmy’s silhouette, like they’re all living in his head.
there are so many tiny details to obsess over. you see marcus in the middle, sugar looking professional, and even some shots of the rest of the crew in the background. it really feels like everything is coming to a head. the “final season” text at the bottom is actually heartbreaking to read, though. like, how is it almost over already?? i feel like i just started rooting for these people to get their act together.
the whole blue and white color scheme feels so sterile but high-stakes, which fits the new restaurant vibe perfectly. june 25 is basically right around the corner, so i guess we should all start preparing our emotions (and maybe some xanax) for the absolute emotional wreckage this season is probably going to be.
are we ready for the “yes chef” era to end? probably not. but am i going to binge the whole thing the second it drops on hulu? absolutely. mark your calendars, guys—it’s going to be a wild ride.
