Colony Circus Trailer Promises an Emotional and Intriguing Ride Ahead of ETV Win Premiere

Colony Circus:
Colony Circus

ETV Win is bringing another short film under its Kathasudha banner, and this one feels a little different. Colony Circus, which starts streaming on May 24, stars Venkatesh Maha, Udvitha Harsha, and Kireeti Damaraju, with Shashank Posimsetty directing it.

The trailer doesn’t try too hard to look polished or “cinematic,” and that actually works in its favor. It feels noisy, crowded, awkward at times — like an actual colony full of people constantly getting into each other’s lives. There’s humor in it, but not the loud, forced kind. The emotions also seem grounded instead of overly dramatic.

Venkatesh Maha immediately grabs attention with his natural screen presence, and the rest of the cast blend into the world rather than looking like actors performing for the camera. Some moments in the trailer feel random or chaotic, but maybe that’s the point — colony life itself is unpredictable and full of small dramas.

Visually, the film keeps things simple. No flashy shots, no over-styled presentation. The rawness gives it charm. Even the dialogues sound casual, like conversations you’d overhear outside an apartment block in the evening.

The trailer may not reveal much about the actual plot, but it creates curiosity. And honestly, that’s enough sometimes. Colony Circus looks like the kind of short film that could either quietly surprise people or become one of those hidden gems viewers keep recommending to friends later.
