Lingam is now available on JioHotstar. If you like crime dramas with a lot of action and surprises you should definitely check this series out. It does not try to be fancy. It just tells a story about a man who is trying to stay alive after his life changes suddenly.
The series is about *Lingam* a man who wants to be a police officer.. His dream is ruined when he gets caught up in a murder case. As he tries to clear his name he gets pulled into a world of crime and danger. The story keeps going. Each episode shows us something new.
Kathir does a job playing *Lingam*. He shows the emotions of the character well so we believe what is happening to Lingam. Vimal and Divya Bharathi also do a job in their roles. They help make the series interesting. The way the main characters interact with each other is also very good.

One of the things about this series is how it keeps us guessing. It does not tell us everything at. It builds up the suspense slowly so we want to know what happens next. The action scenes are also well done. The emotional moments feel real not fake.
The way the series is made is also very impressive. The pictures match the mood of the story and the music adds to the tension without being too loud. The series creates an atmosphere, especially in the more serious moments.
Lingam is not perfect though. Some episodes could be shorter. Some scenes feel a bit long. We can also guess some of the surprises if we have seen a lot of crime thrillers.. These are small problems in a series that is otherwise very entertaining.
Overall Lingam is a crime drama with good performances, a well-paced story and plenty of suspense. If you are looking for a Tamil series that’s exciting and has a lot of action, emotion and mystery you should watch *Lingam*.
