Just watched the trailer of AKKA and this looks pretty intriguing, not gonna lie!
The trailer gives off a dark, intense vibe right from the start, and there’s definitely a sense that things are going to get messy. The setup looks interesting, and I’m curious to see where the story goes.
Keerthy Suresh looks like she’s entering a different zone with this one, and Radhika Apte is someone who always makes you curious about her character. Both of them sharing the screen is honestly one of the biggest reasons I’m interested in this series. And with Tanvi Azmi also part of the cast, there’s potential for some really strong performances.
What caught my attention is the overall atmosphere. It doesn’t feel like a straightforward story, and there’s a certain mystery around the characters that makes you want to know more. The trailer keeps things interesting without revealing too much, which I kinda liked.
Directed by Dharmaraj Shetty, the series also stars Aeklavya Tomer and Nisha Vishwakarma.
Now, whether the actual series lives up to the trailer is something we’ll have to wait and see. But the cast looks promising, and the trailer has definitely made me curious. Hopefully, the writing and storytelling are as strong as the performances seem to be.
AKKA starts streaming on Netflix from October 30 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Looks interesting so far. Definitely keeping this one on my watchlist!
