Chennai Crime Files:
It seems that after Kerala Files, JioHotstar will soon have another crime series up their sleeves. This time, the new Tamil crime thriller series is called Chennai Crime Files, which will be airing on JioHotstar.
Chennai Crime Files is said to be a Hotstar Specials film, thus piquing the interest of Tamil OTT users. From the name, it can easily be seen that this is a story of crime in Chennai. But there has been no news about the plot yet.

But what makes the series all the more interesting is the cast. The cast includes Abhirami, Kannada Ravi, Saravanan, Aditi Balan and Anagha Ravi. The cast, including some actors who are known to take up varied roles, is sure to intrigue OTT users.

So far, JioHotstar has confirmed the release of Chennai Crime Files as the upcoming Tamil series. As of now, there has been no confirmation of the OTT release date of the series.
The plot of the series has not been made known by the makers so far. However, as far as the title goes, it can be predicted that this is going to be the case of a criminal or a criminal investigation-based drama series. It is also true that the setting in Chennai may be one of the main highlights of the series.
