DC OTT Release Date:
For those who could not enjoy DC on screens, the wait is almost over because this Arun Matheswaran directorial is all set to premiere on Sun NXT OTT platform from September 4. The movie is slated to release in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
DC is one of the most awaited movies since it marks filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj as the lead actor of the film. Lokesh plays the role of Devadas while Wamiqa Gabbi takes on the character of Chandra. Sanjana AK stars as the second female lead in this film, along with actors such as Guru Somasundaram, Avinash Raghudevan, Sharath Ravi and Thalaivasal Vijay appearing in crucial parts.

Who directed DC?
DC is directed by Arun Matheswaran who is known for making raw and unique films. DC is based on the famous classic novel Devdas by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay but with a new take on it. The plot takes a dark turn towards violence and actions unlike the original story.
It is interesting how DC provides a completely different experience to Lokesh Kanagaraj. Known as the filmmaker of some of the best action films of Tamil cinema, Lokesh is the lead of this film playing the role of Devadas.
