Dhurandhar:
Dhurandhar is officially landing in Japan on July 10, 2026… and honestly, this poster? It’s doing a lot, but in a good way.
Dhurandhar already had some buzz around it, but this Japan release poster adds a slightly different vibe. It’s got that gritty, almost chaotic street setting — narrow lanes, stuff blowing up in the background, people running around — and right in the middle of all that, you’ve got Ranveer Singh just walking straight through like it’s another Tuesday.
There’s something very “don’t mess with me” about the whole look. He’s not sprinting, not panicking — just moving forward while everything else feels like it’s collapsing around him. And yeah, that kind of visual is not exactly new in action films, but it works here. The long hair, the outfit, the weapon casually in hand — it’s all very stylized, a little dramatic, but not over the top in a bad way.
The Japanese text on the poster adds another layer too. It makes the whole thing feel slightly more intense, like it’s being framed as this high-stakes international action story rather than just a local release. And from what little you can gather visually, it seems like the film leans into that — something about espionage, chaos, maybe a lone guy against a much bigger system.
Also worth noting — this is directed by Aditya Dhar, who knows his way around action storytelling. If you’ve seen his previous work, you kind of expect a mix of grounded tension and big cinematic moments. This poster definitely hints at that balance.
What’s interesting is that it doesn’t try to look overly polished. There’s a roughness to it — dust, fire, clutter — and it actually helps. It feels more lived-in, less like a clean studio setup.
No idea yet how Japanese audiences will fully respond, but visually, this is the kind of poster that at least makes you stop scrolling for a second. And sometimes, that’s half the job done.
July 10 isn’t too far off. Guess we’ll see if the film hits as hard as the poster suggests.
