Fahadh Faasil joins Varanasi sets:
The excitement around Varanasi got another boost. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil has reportedly joined SS Rajamouli on the sets of the awaited film and a new behind-the-scenes picture is already getting attention among movie lovers.
The picture shows Fahadh Faasil alongside SS Rajamouli and other members of the team. The relaxed mood of the photo gives fans a glimpse of the atmosphere on the sets of one of the biggest upcoming Indian films.

Fahadh’s presence is especially interesting because he already has a connection with Rajamouli’s production house. He is playing the lead in Don’t Trouble the Trouble, a Telugu fantasy film presented by Rajamouli and directed by Shashank Yeleti. The film marks Fahadh’s Telugu movie as a lead actor and is scheduled to release in September 2026.
Varanasi is a completely different scale. Directed by SS Rajamouli the film stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the roles. The film is being mounted as a large-scale action-adventure. Is expected to travel across different locations and time periods.
Rajamouli has already completed the action portions of the film with the remaining shoot focusing more on smaller and character-driven sequences.

That is why Fahadh being spotted on the sets has naturally raised curiosity. Fans are already wondering whether this is simply a visit or whether the actor has some connection with the film. There is no confirmation at this point that Fahadh is part of the cast of Varanasi so it would be too early to assume that he has a role in the movie.
Still seeing two of cinema’s most respected talents together is enough to create a buzz.
Fahadh has built a reputation for choosing characters and bringing a lot of depth to even relatively simple scenes. Rajamouli meanwhile is known for creating cinematic worlds and getting the best out of his actors. If the two ever collaborate on screen in the future it would certainly be a combination.
