Animation by Axis Animation employs a distinctive hand-painted style inspired by African-American artists, giving the series a rich visual identity that complements its powerful storytelling
This series is notable for being the first Marvel Animation project set directly within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Sacred Timeline,” enhancing its connectivity with the franchise’s films and expanding Wakanda’s lore in a unique animated format. The release of Eyes of Wakanda will not only serve to enrich the Black Panther universe ahead of the upcoming Black Panther 3 movie but also mark the beginning of a multi-year collaboration between Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media and Disney, with new MCU television projects in development.
Audiences can look forward to all four episodes dropping simultaneously on Disney+ worldwide on August 1, 2025, immersing viewers in an epic saga of valor, intrigue, and cultural heritage that honors Wakanda’s enduring legacy.
