Hanuman Ansh OTT Release:
There are certain stories which are not just about life, but about faith, beliefs, and discovering a purpose outside oneself. One such story is explored in Hanuman Ansh, which has been inspired by the life of Neem Karoli Baba, who is perhaps one of the most popular spiritual gurus in India. It is set to premiere soon on SonyLIV in the form of a Hindi biographical devotional drama, on November 27, 2026.
This movie is directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and narrates the story of a young boy’s quest for God which ultimately results in his spiritual awakening. If movies which do not follow the regular narrative pattern but rather delve into the spiritual legacy of India intrigue you, then this one surely will.
Hanuman Ansh: From a Personal Loss to a Spiritual Awakening
What makes the story of Hanuman Ansh interesting is the journey at its centre. The film follows Lakshminarayan, a young boy whose life changes after losing his mother. Unable to find the answers he seeks, he begins searching for something much greater than himself – God.
It is not portrayed as an easy one as it takes him through varied experiences and spiritual awakenings. In the process, the boy’s quest to find meaning changes course to culminate in his becoming Neem Karoli Baba who is remembered by his followers as Maharajji.
The movie focuses on the values which his life embodies including unconditional love, compassion, devotion and selflessly serving others without any form of expectation.
Unlike the current films in which there are numerous action films, thrillers and other forms of entertainment cinema, this is a very different film indeed.

The interesting part of Hanuman Ansh is its central idea. Instead of focusing on fame, wealth or worldly achievements, it looks at a person’s search for a deeper connection with God.
Neem Karoli Baba’s teachings have inspired devotees across generations. His message of love, kindness and selfless service continues to resonate with people from different walks of life.
The film’s themes also raise an interesting question: What does it really mean to find God? Is it about travelling to sacred places, following rituals or simply learning to treat others with love and compassion?
