Because this wasn’t just some random crime story people forgot after a week. The Hathras case stayed with people. It made people angry. Sick. Numb. Everyone remembers seeing those headlines and thinking — how can something this horrific even happen?
And then everything after it somehow made it worse.
The protests, the outrage, the late-night cremation, politicians jumping in, people fighting on TV debates every single night. The whole country was shaken for weeks. Maybe longer.
Now someone has turned that into a web series.
Honestly, it’s difficult to know how to feel about it. On one side, stories like these should probably be told because people move on too fast and forget too easily. But on the other side, there’s always that uncomfortable feeling — when real pain becomes content, where exactly is the line?
