Here’s What to Expect from Parineeti Chopra’s Upcoming Movie Reporting Live on Netflix

Reporting Live:

Reporting Live

Parineeti Chopra has signed up for an altogether new genre movie for Netflix titled Reporting Live. This film will take us deep inside the story of land mafia, crime, and the life of those who get affected by it.

Set to release on October 9, the film looks like it will mix crime and drama with a strong social angle. At the centre of it is a story that deals with the complicated and often ugly reality of land grabbing and the power networks surrounding it.

Parineeti Chopra leads the film, bringing a journalist-driven perspective to a subject that has plenty of real-world relevance. While details about the full plot are still being kept fairly under wraps, the film is clearly built around the idea of digging into a world where land, money and influence can become a dangerous combination.

The reason why #ReportingLive is exciting is that it features a story which is not completely new, but definitely full of enough conflict to be brought into the movies again. Disputed lands, powerful people, common families, and journalists who are trying to uncover the truth, all this creates the natural conflict in the movie.

Since Netflix is backing this movie, there is no need to wait for a theatrical release, and the movie will be available on the service starting October 9.

In addition to this, #ReportingLive gives Parineeti another role in the list of roles played by her recently, as the actress is not sticking to the commercial story, but seems to try something new.

It still needs to be seen whether the movie becomes a thriller with its land-mafia storyline or rather a movie that focuses on the social comment, but with the combination of the famous actress, the theme of journalists, and the topic of land mafia, #ReportingLive has become the matter to discuss already.

Mark October 9 on the calendar — #ReportingLive arrives on Netflix.
