Jagamae Sangeetham:
‘Jagamae Sangeetham’ is a new musical drama series starring Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Madhubala in lead roles. Jagamae Sangeetham series has been directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and produced by Sushmita Konidela, daughter of Chiranjeevi under her production banner Gold Box Entertainment.
The producers have now finalized the release date of the series. Starting from September 4, Jagamae Sangeetham will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video in both Telugu and Tamil languages. The streaming site also released the poster for the series.
Suman, Sijju Menon, Shafi, Jhansi, Raghu Babu, Rocket Raghava, Nagi Jabardast and Roopa Lakshmi will also play crucial roles in Jagamae Sangeetham series.
Set in the world of Carnatic music, the story revolves around Balu hailing from a musical family whose traditions started from his grandpa Sastry. The protagonist has to face many hurdles in order to save those traditions.
Musical drama plays an important role in the story. Things get interesting for the hero when he establishes relation with a singer who belongs to the world of pop stardom. The further course of action and the result of that seems to be an integral part of the story.
According to Sushmita Konidela, the characters and story of the series have been conceptualized in such a way that music does not remain just a part of their life but also a form of emotional language through which they express their love, quarrels and deepest emotions.
Considering the impressive cast and story, Jagamae Sangeetham promises to be an exciting addition to the lineup of Prime Video coming soon.
