‘Jingle Bell Heist’ arrives on Netflix
‘Jingle Bell Heist’, starring Olivia Holt and Connor Swindells, a new Netflix original will start streaming from November 26. The film is directed by Michael Fimognari, and co-written by Abby McDonald and Amy Reed. Blending holiday cheer with a touch of crime and romance, the story follows Sophia Martin (Holt), who moves from Philadelphia to London to care of her ailing mother, who was diagnosed with cancer.
However, life abroad is not as affordable as she expected. Struggling with two jobs and mounting financial condition, Sophia is shocked to know that her mom’s surgery isn’t covered by insurance. Running out of options, she decides to rob her awful boss, Maxwell Sterling (Serafinowicz). However, she gets caught by Nick O’Connor (Swindells), a former security consultant turned phone technician.
Instead of making her turn in, Nick proposes a partnership. It involves a high-stakes holiday heist at a fancy store. What began as desperate plan for survival turns into a surprising romance, making this one festive caper you don’t want to miss.
