Kalki 2:
So the latest buzz is that Kalki 2 is aiming for a December 2027 release, and apparently the shoot could wrap by next April. Nothing officially confirmed yet, but fans are already losing it online.
And honestly.. understandable.
Getting Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan back together again is enough to create hype by itself. The first film ended at such a wild point that people have been waiting for updates ever since.
Prabhas returning as Bhairava is obviously a huge pull. Whatever people thought about the first movie overall, most agreed the setup for Part 2 looked massive. Feels like the real story is only starting now.
Amitabh Bachchan was another big surprise in Part1. Ashwatthama ended up becoming one of the strongest characters in the film, and some scenes were straight-up carried by him.
But yeah, the biggest excitement is probably Kamal Haasan this time. He barely had screen time in the first part, yet Supreme Yaskin still left a crazy impact. People are expecting a lot more from him in the sequel.
The interesting thing is that the first movie mostly spent time building the world, explaining the future setting, introducing characters and all that.
Kalki 2 now has the chance to go full chaos mode with the conflict and action.
Still… December 2027 feels painfully far away.
But with a film this big, packed with VFX and expectations, the makers probably don’t want to rush it. Makes sense hones6tly.
For now it’s all just reports and online buzz. But one thing’s clear — the hype for Kalki 2 has already started again.
