Isn’t office life not only limited to work? There are moments when there are awkward discussions, humorous misunderstandings, quarrels and even sometimes, some romance too! Portraying the very same familiar environment in a series format is the soon-to-be-released Tamil romantic comedy series titled “Mr.&Mrs.Office”.
The series will hit our screens on 18th November 2026, via JioHotstar. This show stars Sanam Shetty, Smeha Manimegalai and Pradeep Anthony. The series is directed by Abdul Kabeez and is under the category of the Hotstar Specials Tamil series list.
However, with the name of the show itself suggesting an office romance, it remains unknown what the storyline is actually about. Nevertheless, the concept of the combination of office life, romance and comedy is promising.

What Does Mr. & Mrs. Office Entail?
Mr. & Mrs. Office is simply a work place romance-comedy show as per the title. This work place premise creates a lot of room for a drama-filled plot full of events that could be very relatable to some of the occurrences at the work place.
Imagine all the typical scenarios that are common at the work place such as co-workers who just do not seem to agree on everything, the unpredictable nature of work place conversations and situations where personal emotions interfere with relationships in the work place.
However, since the creators have not unveiled a synopsis of the show yet, no one can know anything about the plot and the relations between the main characters.
Sanam Shetty, Smeha Manimegalai and Pradeep Anthony Lead the Cast
One of the things to look forward to is the cast. Mr. & Mrs. Office features Sanam Shetty, Smeha Manimegalai and Pradeep Anthony in key roles.
Sanam Shetty has appeared in Tamil films and television, while Smeha Manimegalai and Pradeep Anthony are also part of the upcoming series. Details about their characters haven’t been officially revealed, so viewers will have to wait a little longer to find out who they play and how their stories unfold.
With a workplace setting at the centre of the show, the interactions between the characters could play a big role in making the comedy and romance work.
Abdul Kabeez Directs the Upcoming Series
Mr. & Mrs. Office is directed by Abdul Kabeez. The series is expected to bring romance and comedy together in a setting that many viewers can relate to.
Workplace stories can be surprisingly entertaining when they get the small details right — the office friendships, the occasional clashes, the pressure of deadlines and the personal lives that continue even after the workday ends. How the series uses these elements will be worth watching.
For now, more information about the plot, episode count and trailer is awaited.
When and Where to Watch Mr. & Mrs. Office?
