Nee Forever:
There’s another Tamil film quietly making its way to OTT, and this one might catch people off guard in a good way. Nee Forever, directed by Ashok Kumar Kalaivani, is all set to start streaming on Netflix from April 24, and it’s coming in a full multi-language rollout — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Not every film arrives with huge noise or big marketing blasts. Some just show up, and people discover them while scrolling late at night. This one feels like it belongs to that category.
The film stars ChellaSudharsan Govind in the lead, along with veteran actor Y.G. Mahendran, whose presence alone often brings a certain weight and familiarity to any story he’s part of. It’s always interesting when newer faces are paired with someone so seasoned — there’s usually a different kind of energy on screen.
From what’s been shared so far, Nee Forever isn’t trying to be loud or overly dramatic in its positioning. It’s more of a “let the audience find it and feel it” kind of release. And honestly, OTT platforms have made that possible in a way theatres never really could.
