The movie Obsession is becoming a big surprise at the box office. It has now made over 474 million dollars around the world. This means it is really close to doing something special.
If Obsession keeps doing it might even beat Elemental. Elemental made 496 million dollars around the world when it was in theaters. If Obsession beats Elemental it will be the movie that made the money and is not based on anything else like a book or another movie. This is something that seemed impossible a few weeks ago.

Whether or not Obsession beats Elemental it has already done better than a lot of people thought it would.. If it keeps making money it might even set a new record, at the box office for a new movie.
