After months of speculation, Vijay’s much-anticipated film Jana Nayagan’s release on ZEE5 from August 21 is officially here!
A statement from ZEE5 has confirmed that the movie Jana Nayagan directed by H. Vinoth, starring Joseph Vijay along with Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju will start streaming on ZEE5 from August 21 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages, allowing fans of the four southern languages to watch it online.
The film’s release on OTT is all the more special since it has generated a lot of buzz since its first day. ZEE5 has already had an association with the film in the form of the Thalapathy Thiruvizha – Jana Nayagan Audio Launch specials.
But, Jana Nayagan’s OTT release seems to carry special significance for Vijay fans due to the way the movie has been marketed. For one, the film marks an important milestone in the filmography of the actor himself, with the film’s political context adding to the intrigue surrounding it.
As the streaming date gets finalized as August 21, Vijay fans finally have a date to mark in their diaries after missing out on the theatrical experience or wanting a second watch of the same.
