OTT Releases This Week:
There’s plenty to watch on OTT platforms this week, with a mix of new movies, thrillers and web series arriving across Netflix, Prime Video, ZEE5, JioHotstar and ETV Win. Here are some of the titles worth checking out.
Vishwanath And Sons
Suriya stars in Venky Atluri’s blockbuster family drama Vishwanath And Sons, with Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The film, which reportedly collected over ₹260 crore at the box office, is now streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
Makutam
Vishal not only plays the lead in Makutam, but also directed the film. Produced by RB Choudary, the movie stars Dushara Vijayan and Anjali as the female leads. Released on August 14, the film failed to make the expected impact at the box office. It is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Panchanama
Tamil actor Bharath plays a key role in the crime thriller Panchanama, directed by Mohan Srinivas. Produced by Midde Vijayendra Mouli and Udayabhanu under Udaya Bhanu Productions, the series is now streaming on ZEE5.
The story revolves around three people dying on the same day. What caused their deaths, and how does police officer Bharath crack the case? That’s what the series sets out to uncover.
The Revolutionaries
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, The Revolutionaries is a period web series based on the real-life stories of four young revolutionaries who took part in India’s armed freedom struggle. The series is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Hindi, Telugu and other languages.
Blue Star
Presented by Pa. Ranjith and directed by S. Jayakumar, Blue Star is a Tamil sports drama that originally released in 2024. The film is now available for Telugu audiences on ETV Win.
Ashok Selvan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Keerthi Pandian, Prithvirajan and Divya Duraiswamy play key roles.
