Race Against Time: ‘Peddi’ Locks June 4 — But Is One Month Enough?

Peddi:

Looks like mega fans finally got what they were waiting for. The release date of Peddi is officially locked.
With Toxic getting postponed, the June 4 slot opened up — and Peddi quickly grabbed it. Even more interesting, premieres are expected to start from June 3 itself

But here’s where the real question comes in.
From June 3, there’s barely about a month left. For a pan-India film like this, is that really enough time?
As per the latest update, the shooting has just been completed. However, post-production work is still pending. A. R. Rahman is currently busy with the background score (RR work), and there’s a chance he might wrap it up in the next 15 days. Only after that can the promotions properly begin.

So yeah… tight schedule.
So far, 2 songs from Peddi have been released, and 4 more songs are still pending. Those will now have to be released one after another, quickly building momentum.
And since this is a pan-India film, promotions can’t just be small-scale.

The team is planning:
At least two major events
A mandatory media meet in Mumbai Promotional tours in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kochi And finally, a big pre-release event in Hyderabad
All of this needs to be squeezed into a short timeframe.

You can’t just call it a pan-India film and skip proper promotions — especially when the makers are aiming for a strong release in North India. That market needs visibility, and that means going all out with promotions.

So now it’s not just about the film being ready… it’s about whether the team can pull off everything in time.
June 4 is locked.

The pressure? Also locked
