Ranbir Kapoor is already thinking beyond acting! While promoting his new film Ramayana, which is now in theaters, the actor talked about his interest in direction and mentioned that he plans to make his directorial debut in the next couple of years.
“I think I have only one more decade left in me as an actor,” said Ranbir, who may be looking to take up a new role in the coming years.

The actor further stated that he needs to wrap up his existing films before he ventures into directing. Ranbir added that he has begun penning a story, and wishes to direct it soon.
The actor loves slice-of-life stories and feel-good family movies. He mentioned about his admiration for directors such as Rajkumar Hirani.
Ranbir also has a lot of exciting projects lined up for himself, such as Brahmastra 2, Animal Park, and Ramayana Part 2.
For now, audiences can catch him as Lord Rama in Ramayana, which is currently in theatres. But if his plans work out, the next few years could mark the beginning of an exciting new journey for Ranbir Kapoor — this time, behind the camera!
