Ranveer Singh Pralay:
Ranveer Singh is already onto his next big film.
After the huge run of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the actor has started shooting for his upcoming survival film Pralay. The shoot has begun today, with the team filming at real locations in and around Mumbai.
There isn’t much information about the story yet, and the makers seem to be keeping things pretty quiet. What we do know is that Pralay is being described as a survival spectacle, which sounds quite different from the kind of films Ranveer has recently been associated with.

The film is directed by Jai Mehta. He has previously been part of projects such as Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, which he co-directed with Hansal Mehta, and Lootere. So, naturally, there is some curiosity about how he is going to handle a large-scale survival story with a star like Ranveer.
Kalyani Priyadarshan is also part of the film in a pivotal role. The actress has been getting plenty of attention following Lokah, and seeing her alongside Ranveer is one of the interesting parts of this new project.
Pralay is being backed by Birla Studios, True Story Films and Maa Kasam Films. The production has now officially begun, and more details are expected to come out as the shoot progresses.

For Ranveer, this is an important next step after the success of the Dhurandhar films. The expectations are obviously high, but Pralay appears to be taking him into a completely different space.
