Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been trying for quite some time to make a film with a Telugu star. And going by the latest buzz, the filmmaker doesn’t seem to be giving up on that idea anytime soon.
Interestingly, Bhansali has already narrated a story to Allu Arjun. The two have reportedly discussed a possible collaboration, although nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Now, there’s another interesting name doing the rounds — NTR. Insider circles are claiming that Bhansali has met the RRR star as well and discussed a project with him.
And, as it turns out, this list goes on.
It is also reported that Bhansali recently met Mahesh Babu. What makes it more interesting is that none of these meetings have anything to do with a single film idea. As per reports, Bhansali has different stories for each one of the three stars.
So, it looks like Bhansali is pretty clear about what he wants. But the question remains whether the stars are equally ready for the idea.
This is because a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is never an ordinary commercial Telugu cinema production. He brings along his own vision involving grand settings, strong characters, elaborate visuals and melodrama in a unique cinematic language. It will indeed be something different for these stars, considering how they have been working so far.
Allu Arjun, NTR and Mahesh Babu are already working at a pan-Indian level. However, working with Bhansali may take them to an entirely new level of cinematic experience.
As of now, there is no news of any such collaboration from the filmmakers. But if these meet-ups end up in any film, it might well become one of the most anticipated combinations in Indian cinema.
And honestly, that’s the interesting part.
