Sigma OTT Release:
Tamil cinema has another OTT release lined up for viewers this week. Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, is now streaming on Netflix from October 30, 2026.
The film is available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, making it easier for audiences across different regions to watch it.

Sigma on Netflix: What is the Film About?
Sigma is an action comedy film directed by Jason Sanjay in his directorial debut. The film has been written by Jason Sanjay, and has been produced by Lyca Productions, which premiered on 2nd October 2026 in the Tamil and Telugu languages.
The plot is about Guru (Sundeep Kishan), a penniless librarian, and Sam (Faria Abdullah), a radio host and owner of an antique shop. Their lives take an unpredictable turn after a betrayal and discovery of a vault key.
Sundeep Kishan Leads the Cast
Sundeep Kishan plays Guru, while Faria Abdullah appears as RJ Sam. The supporting cast includes Sampath Raj as Veerayya Reddy, Raju Sundaram as Dr. Neil, Shiv Panditt as Vincent and Anbu Thasan as KG.
Thaman S is the composer for this film as well. Krishnan Vasant shot the film while Praveen K.L. edited the film.

What Do Critics Think of Sigma?
After the theatrical release, there have been various reactions regarding Sigma. Sundeep Kishan’s acting, visuals and the music score by Thaman received praise.
However, the screenplay was highly criticized for being predictable and using the idea of retro-heist too much. This also made it difficult for the film to develop suspense as it should in a heist thriller.
With the current availability of the film on Netflix, one can determine whether the film would do well on OTT platforms.
