Vishwanath And Sons is picking up speed at the box office, and the jump from Day 1 to Day 2 is the big talking point right now.
According to the latest figures shared by the makers, the Suriya-starrer has grossed ₹79 crore worldwide in its first two days. The film had already opened well on Thursday, but Day 2 came in noticeably stronger.

The worldwide numbers stand at ₹79 crore, with India contributing ₹45.5 crore and overseas markets adding another ₹33.5 crore.

* Day 2: ₹45 crore worldwide
* 2-Day Worldwide Gross: ₹79 crore
The India numbers are ₹19.5 crore on Day 1 and ₹26 crore on Day 2, taking the two-day India total to ₹45.5 crore.
Overseas also had a solid second day. The film collected ₹14.5 crore on Day 1 and reportedly jumped to ₹19 crore on Day 2, taking the overseas total to ₹33.5 crore.
Tamil Nadu Gives the Film Another Big Boost
The Tamil Nadu numbers are particularly interesting. Vishwanath And Sons collected ₹7.1 crore on Day 1, but Day 2 saw a major jump to ₹12.4 crore.
That’s roughly a 74% jump in the state, which is a pretty strong sign that the film is gaining momentum rather than slowing down after its opening day.

And now the attention is on Day 3. Early indications are looking positive, and with the weekend ahead, the film has a good opportunity to push the numbers even higher.

For Suriya, this is a promising start, and the big question now is how far Vishwanath And Sons can take this momentum over the weekend.
