So yeah, Biker just dropped on Netflix and I went in expecting a full-on adrenaline rush… and I kinda got that, but not without a few bumps on the road.
First off, Sharwanand really carries this film. There’s this raw, stubborn energy to his character that actually works, especially in the racing portions. You can feel the obsession, the need to prove something — not just to others, but to himself. Rajasekhar brings that senior presence, a bit predictable maybe, but still solid. Malavika Nair is good too, though I wish they gave her more to do than just orbit around the main guy’s journey. Atul Kulkarni, as usual, does his thing — calm, controlled, slightly intimidating.
The racing scenes are honestly the best part. They’re shot well, not overly flashy, and you can follow what’s happening (which is rare sometimes). There’s a couple of sequences that genuinely get your heart going a bit.
But where Biker stumbles is the story in between all that. It’s not bad… just familiar. Like you’ve seen these beats before — underdog, emotional baggage, redemption arc, all that. Some scenes feel stretched, and a few emotional moments don’t hit as hard as they probably should’ve.
Music is decent, nothing that sticks in your head long after, but it does the job while you’re watching. Background score helps in the race scenes though.
Overall, Biker is watchable for sure. It’s got enough energy and decent performances to keep you engaged, especially if you like sports dramas. Just don’t expect something super fresh or groundbreaking.
Worth a watch? Yeah, especially on a relaxed evening. Just go in with balanced expectations.
