The Story

The Review
The Malayalam film industry is good at making thrillers. Director Abhilash R. Nair’s Dose is another one. Nair takes an idea. Medical crime. And makes it scary. The film is good at building tension.
The best thing about Dose is that it’s not like medical dramas. It doesn’t have heroes doing things. Instead it builds tension slowly. The hospital feels like a guy. The way its filmed makes you feel like you’re trapped.
Siju Wilson acts well. He plays the doctor like a person, not a superhero. He gets more and more desperate. That keeps you watching. Wilsons acting makes the situation feel serious.
Director Abhilash R. Nair is good at keeping the mystery going. The story has surprises that keep you guessing.
On the hand the film gets a bit slow in the middle. The ending is a bit predictable. Its still good.
The Verdict
with some small problems Dose is a good thriller. Siju Wilson acts great. The direction is good. This medical mystery is worth watching.
