Egg Shells Review:

Egg Shells is the latest Telugu release on ETV Win, streaming from August 21. The series, directed by Bharat Garlapati, also stars Bharat Garlapati, Mohana Sree, Rohith Tanjavur, Kapil and Paul Prashanth. ETV Win describes it as a story about love, fragile emotions and the things couples often struggle to say to each other.
Story
The title Egg Shells itself gives away the basic idea. The story looks at relationships where people have to be careful with every word and every emotion.
The series focuses on modern couples, their emotional baggage, misunderstandings and the communication problems that can slowly create distance between two people. Instead of making love look perfect, it tries to show the uncomfortable side of relationships — the things people keep inside and the conversations they avoid.

Review
What works in Egg Shells is that the subject feels quite relatable. Relationship problems don’t always come from some huge betrayal or dramatic twist. Sometimes it’s just poor communication, expectations, insecurity or things left unsaid. The series tries to explore exactly that.
Bharat Garlapati handles both the direction and one of the lead roles. His approach is fairly simple, which suits the story. There is no need for unnecessary over-the-top drama here because the emotional situations are supposed to feel close to real life.
Mohana Sree gets a role with plenty of emotional scope, and she brings a natural feel to the relationship portions. The supporting actors also help keep the proceedings grounded.
The biggest strength is probably the theme. Egg Shells talks about that feeling of constantly “walking on eggshells” around someone you love. One small argument can turn into a much bigger issue when two people stop communicating properly.
That said, the series isn’t perfect. Some portions feel familiar, and viewers who have watched a lot of relationship-based Telugu content may feel that the story is going over territory they’ve seen before. The pacing could also have been a little tighter in places.
Still, the attempt to keep the story emotional and realistic works in its favour. It doesn’t feel like a series made only to create dramatic moments. There is a genuine effort to show how relationships can become complicated even when both people care about each other.
Final Verdict
Egg Shells is a simple relationship drama that works best when it stays close to its emotional core. Don’t expect a huge thriller or a series packed with twists. This one is more about love, misunderstandings and the fragile space between two people.
If you like short Telugu relationship dramas with a realistic emotional angle, you can give this ETV Win release a try.
