After a long break from the big screen, Samantha is back with Maa Inti Bangaram, reuniting with director Nandini Reddy after the success of Oh! Baby. Story
The story follows Swarna, an orphan who grows up in an orphanage after losing her parents at a young age. She falls in love with Anirudh, a man from a wealthy family, and the two get married without his family’s approval. As a result, Anirudh is cut off from his loved ones.

Determined to reunite her husband with his family, Swarna enters her in-laws’ home and tries to win everyone’s hearts by learning their traditions and customs. Maa Inti Bangaram starts on a promising note with a balanced mix of family emotions, comedy, and action. The first half keeps the audience engaged, thanks to Samantha’s lively performance and the entertaining family moments.
The second half, however, loses some momentum. While the emotional core remains intact, the screenplay becomes less engaging and the narrative struggles to maintain the same energy. Even so, the action sequences and emotional moments ensure the film never becomes dull.

Performances
Samantha once again proves why she is one of the finest performers in Indian cinema. She effortlessly handles emotional scenes, comedy, and action, making Swarna a memorable character.
Manjusha delivers a charming performance with her innocent and humorous role. Gulshan Devaiah is convincing as the antagonist, though the character could have been written with more depth. Diganth, Sreemukhi, Gautami, Srilakshmi, and Srinivas Gavireddy provide solid support throughout the film.
Technical Aspects
Santhosh Narayanan’s music is one of the film’s biggest strengths, especially the background score during emotional and action sequences. Om Prakash’s cinematography gives the film a rich visual appeal. Director Nandini Reddy handles the first half confidently, but a tighter screenplay in the latter half could have made the film even more impactful.
