It is evident from the very title that the movie would revolve around the socio-fantasy world of a middle-class family. Directed by G. Nageswara Reddy, the film aims to strike a balance between family emotions, comedy and fantasy. The concept of the movie is quite simple and not really difficult for the audience to understand. The characters and situations in which they find themselves are more important in Mr Middle Class than anything else.
Srikanth looks to be an appropriate choice for the lead actor in this family comedy as he does justice to his character through an effortless and laidback performance. In particular, his performance in family-related sequences seems to be just perfect. Laya looks to be comfortable in her place, sharing a pleasant screen space with Srikanth.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the film is its supporting cast. The film has an array of actors in its supporting cast including names such as Rajendra Prasad, Ali, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Dhanraj, Prudhvi and Babu Mohan. Murali Goud and Karuna Bhushan are also a part of the film.
The comedy in Mr Middle Class mostly comes from situations. While certain scenes look to be hilarious, a few are just predictable. Overall, the film doesn’t maintain the level of entertainment all the way through, and the middle part of the film needs to be tightened a bit.
The fantasy element in Mr Middle Class gives the film an edge. However, the movie is not an outright fantasy entertainer with grand visuals of fantasy elements or any massive scale. Rather, the fantasy element works as an element to move forward with the story and create entertainment.
The best thing about the film is that it keeps everything very simple. No complex story is required to think about in order to understand the film. It is a family entertainer that revolves around emotions and comedy with fantasy thrown in it.
It is true that the film has a few slow portions, and the comedy portions might work only for those who enjoy traditional Telugu family entertainers. Certain portions of the screenplay can be made a little more engaging.
