Panchanama Web Series Review:
There’s something interesting about investigative thrillers when they don’t reveal everything in the first few minutes. Panchanama, the new Telugu web series streaming on ZEE5, tries to do exactly that.
The six-episode series is directed by Mohan Srivatsa and features Bharat Niwas, Udaya Bhanu, Medha and Apoorva in key roles. It’s the kind of thriller that wants you to keep watching because you feel there’s always another piece of the puzzle waiting to come out.

Story & Writing
Panchanama revolves around an investigation and slowly opens up the mystery instead of putting all the cards on the table at once. The investigative angle is easily the biggest attraction here, especially for viewers who enjoy crime stories where clues and characters gradually start connecting.
The six-episode format also works in its favour. There isn’t a huge number of episodes to sit through, so the story has a reasonably focused feel.
That said, the writing isn’t perfect. Some developments are easy to see coming, while a few portions could have been tighter. But whenever the investigation picks up, the series becomes much more interesting.
Performances
Bharat Niwas gets plenty of scope in the investigative setup and handles his role well. Udaya Bhanu brings a different presence to the proceedings, while Medha and Apoorva fit comfortably into the story.
The performances are more about making the characters believable than going for big dramatic moments, which suits the tone of the series.
Direction & Thriller Element
Director Mohan Srivatsa keeps the focus on the investigation and mystery. The series doesn’t depend entirely on loud twists or unnecessary action. Instead, it tries to create curiosity through the case and the characters involved.
Some episodes are stronger than others, but the overall approach works reasonably well.
The real question while watching Panchanama is simple: where is this investigation actually heading? That curiosity keeps the series moving.

Is Panchanama Worth Watching?
If you’re into Telugu investigative thrillers, Panchanama is definitely worth checking out on ZEE5. It isn’t a flawless thriller and don’t expect every twist to surprise you, but the six-episode length makes it an easy weekend binge.
The series works best when it concentrates on the investigation and keeps the mystery alive. A few slower stretches stop it from becoming a truly gripping thriller, but there is enough here to keep crime and mystery fans interested.
