Part-Timers Review:
A good web series needn’t necessarily have a star-studded cast and complex storyline. With the right set of relatable characters and some light comedy, a web series can keep you hooked to the screen. Telugu comedy drama series Part-Timers on JioHotstar attempts to do precisely that.
Directed by Sai Teja Gona, the series stars Pratyusha, Sinduja, Chiranjeevi, Veda Kalyan, Sasidhar Reddy and Aamir in the lead roles.

Plot Summary
Set around a bunch of youngsters facing the realities of their day-to-day existence including professional struggles, financial hardships, and personal issues, the comedy-drama series Part-Timers revolves around part-timers and the situations that arise out of the same.
In terms of plot complexity, the show doesn’t really aim at any of that and instead chooses to stick to simple and relatable themes.
And in some ways, that helps in giving some interesting results in terms of the plot. There are a few situations in the series that actually ring true if you have ever had a hard time with your work or finances in life.
Comedy
While comedy usually involves a lot of forced jokes in a TV Show, here the humor is more on the lines of dialogue-driven.
Though not something that will make you laugh every now and then, the light-hearted approach to handling the story makes the series engaging and entertaining enough.
Performances
The young cast of the series, Pratyusha, Sinduja, Chiranjeevi, Veda Kalyan, Sasidhar Reddy and Aamir gives a decent performance, considering how dependent the show is on its young cast.
The chemistry among the characters in the series is actually pretty good, making it a definite positive point of the series.
As director, Sai Teja Gona keeps things pretty simple.

What Works and What Doesn’t
The greatest strength of the show lies in its simple nature. Not only does it not involve much thinking while viewing but also manages to come up with relatable situations.
The storyline of the series though is nothing much groundbreaking. There are instances which could have been handled better and even the humor of the show may not go down well with all the viewers.
Verdict
Part-Timers is a pretty simple Telugu comedy drama series which succeeds when watched without any great expectations from it.
