Reporting Live Movie Review:

Unlike most investigative thrillers, Reporting Live does not seek to dazzle the viewer with constant action sequences, but rather lures him into its atmosphere through a number of hints that hint at the unexpected twists of the plot.
Reporting Live, directed by Dhruv Tripathi, is a Hindi movie that is currently streaming on Netflix. The cast includes Parineeti Chopra, Shekhar Suman, Adil Hussain, and Amol Palekar.

It tells the story of an investigation that quickly escalates from being seemingly simple to become something else entirely. With elements of journalism, mystery, and power struggle added, Reporting Live has a distinct air of an investigative thriller.
What works about the film is its mood. There is an undercurrent of things withheld throughout. The script is methodical about revealing facts and the process itself does wonders to build up the suspense factor. While you might sometimes disagree about the pace, there is definitely a sense of mystery to be found here.
Parineeti Chopra is given a part that allows her to hold the movie up. She adds an element of intensity to the movie especially once the detective work begins to become more personal. Adil Hussain is another great performance who adds his own sense of controlled acting to this genre.
Shekhar Suman and Amol Palekar add more weight to the film, especially as the story moves into its more serious territory. The performances generally feel grounded rather than overly dramatic, which works in the film’s favour.
Undoubtedly, the biggest advantage that Reporting Live has is its subject matter and the mystery of the story. However, there are some things that need to be mentioned about the film. For example, certain parts seem a bit dragged out and the development of some plot twists could have been done in a bit better way. The movie may drag on the attention of its audience since the action in this thriller does not start immediately.
Nevertheless, if one likes investigating thrillers and stories that revolve around journalists and mysteries, it would be interesting to try this movie once. It is more about investigation than twists in the plot.

Final Verdict
It should be said that Reporting Live is not an innovative thriller, however, it provides an interesting and gripping watch with good acting and intriguing plot. Not all people will appreciate its slow pace; however, if they manage to immerse into the atmosphere of the film, they will get entertained.
