enugu Thondam Ghatikachalam Review:

Honestly, Yenugu Thondam Ghatikachalam feels like one of those movies you stumble onto on a lazy evening, hit play without expectations, and end up smiling more than you thought you would. It’s not trying to be clever or stylish or deep—it’s just this simple, slightly goofy little comedy built around Naresh doing what Naresh does best: creating chaos with the sweetest intentions.
The whole father–daughter dynamic is actually the heart of the film, and it’s surprisingly cute. Naresh’s character keeps messing things up in the funniest ways, and Varshini Sounderajan plays the daughter who’s constantly rolling her eyes but still can’t stay mad at him. That vibe feels very real and very relatable—like that one family member who keeps causing trouble but everyone secretly loves.
The humour is very “Telugu household comedy”—nothing over-the-top, nothing edgy, just clean, situational fun. Some jokes work really well, especially when the supporting cast jumps in (Ali and Raghu Babu still have that effortless timing). Sure, a few scenes feel like they’re stretching the joke a bit too long, but the film never becomes annoying or heavy. It just cruises along in its own easy, harmless way.
It’s definitely an OTT-type film—you can feel it in the simple sets and the straightforward pacing—but that actually works in its favour. It feels like something you keep playing while having dinner with family, laughing here and there without needing to follow every second.
By the end of it, you don’t feel blown away, but you do feel lighter. It’s warm, it’s silly, and it has that comforting Telugu-family-movie energy that’s become rare lately.
If you’re looking for a stress-free, good-vibes watch, especially with elders or kids around, Yenugu Thondam Ghatikachalam on ETV Win is honestly a nice pick. Not perfect, not spectacular—just pleasantly fun.
