Tholubommalu Review:
There is a rise in youth-based web series being launched in recent times. However, it is not necessary that all of them have to be complicated. At times, an easy plot focusing on friendships, relationship, comic interludes and issues related to growing up is also enough. It appears that Tholubommalu wants to cater to that very niche.
The Telugu web series is currently airing on ETV Win. And, the show features a youthful star cast headed by Anudeep and Divija Prabhakar. The show has been directed by Jashwanth Aare. Other stars featuring in the series include Narendra Ravi, Annie, Nikhil Gopu and Praveen Mallishetty.
What is Tholubommalu all about?
Tholubommalu centers around friendship, relationships, perception of today’s generation and small incidents which may have a big effect on one’s life.
Three close friends, Jai, Siri and Mani get together with a budding filmmaker named Mythili to make a demo movie. But, making movies isn’t as easy as it sounds. While there is mirth and enjoyment in their quest, some financial troubles and misunderstandings arise which put their friendship and ambition to test.

It is a very interesting premise for the web series, especially for the youth viewers. The plot of the show doesn’t seem to revolve around some great twist. Instead, the show is trying to build up on its moments through friendship, emotions, relationship and day-to-day incidents.

The biggest plus of Tholubommalu is its youthful vibe. It feels like a series made with today’s audience in mind, particularly viewers who enjoy stories about friends and relationships without too much seriousness.

Performances
Anudeep and Divija Prabhakar get the main focus and bring a youthful energy to the show. Their performances fit the relatively easy-going tone of the series.
