Undekhi Season 4 Review – messy, dark, and kinda hard to look away from

Undekhi Season 4 Review:

Undekhi Season 4 Review

I just finished Undekhi S4 on SonyLIV and… yeah, it’s one of those seasons where you can *feel* it’s the end. like everything is just collapsing in slow motion.

it’s still got that same uneasy vibe. nothing feels safe, nobody feels like a “good” person, and the whole thing just stays tense in a very uncomfortable way. Ashish R. Shukla doesn’t try to make it neat or heroic, which honestly works for this kind of story.

Surya Sharma is again just… chaos. like he carries so much of the energy. you don’t know if he’s going to explode or manipulate or just sit quietly and that unpredictability is what keeps it interesting. Harsh Chhaya is strong too, very controlled performance. Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Varun Badola bring that seriousness, like the stakes actually matter.

but yeah, not gonna lie, it does feel rushed at places. like they had a checklist of things to finish and just went “ok let’s do this fast”. some twists you can see coming from a mile if you’ve followed earlier seasons. and there are bits where it slows down randomly and you’re like… wait, why are we still here?

still, when it hits, it hits. especially the confrontations. those scenes have that proper “something bad is about to happen” energy, which is what Undekhi always did well.

overall… not perfect, kinda uneven, a little messy — but maybe that’s also why it fits? it doesn’t try to be clean. it just ends the way this world probably would: chaotic and a bit unsettling.
