This Telugu thriller movie tells the story of a mysterious incident that happened in the rainy night and slowly took the character through a story full of secrets, emotions and revenge. The concept of the story is quite good and the rainy night concept gives a unique feel to this movie.
The first good thing about this movie is its good storytelling. This movie does not burden the viewer with numerous characters and complex plots. Instead, it takes its time in unfolding the story and revealing the mystery behind it.
Both Vaibhav and Sara perform well in the movie whereas other actors contribute in their ways. Shakeela, Suman Shetty, Gundu Hanumantha Rao and Melkote provide some light moments to the movie.
However, the movie looks old-fashioned in some parts. The pacing of the movie was quite loose in some places and the scenes did not create much impact as they were meant to do. People who like fast-paced OTT thrillers would find this movie to be slow.
In any case, if you are a fan of traditional Telugu thriller movies with mystery and revenge concepts, then Varsham Kurisina Rathri can be given a chance. This is more of a lazy Sunday entertainment rather than a thriller.
