I think mystery thrillers are really good when they keep you guessing. Veerabhadruni Rahasyam, which is now streaming on ZEE5 does that for most of the time. The director, Bheemagani Sri Vardhan Reddy made this Telugu web series with a mix of suspense, mystery and emotional drama. This makes it interesting to watch from one episode to the next.
The story is about some events that are connected to hidden secrets and unexpected twists. The series does not tell you everything at once. Instead it gives you clues as you watch so you have to figure out the puzzle as the episodes go on. I think this slow build up is one of the parts of Veerabhadruni Rahasyam.

The actors do a job of telling the story. Anni is really good in the role and makes the emotional moments feel real. Raghu Kunche is very impressive whenever he is on screen. Director Bheemagani Sri Vardhan Reddy focuses on making the series suspenseful than using a lot of action or over-the-top drama. The atmosphere, in scenes is tense and the background music adds to the mystery without being distracting. Some episodes are a bit slow. They also help build the characters and set up the bigger surprises.
The writing is good because it leaves some questions unanswered making you want to watch the episode. Some twists are predictable. Others are surprising and make the end more satisfying. Veerabhadruni Rahasyam also balances suspense with moments giving the characters depth and making them feel real.
